The slice Difference
Slice Sports is built for control, not access. We originate proprietary deals directly from owners, leagues, and rights holders, then partner actively with portfolio assets to drive execution and long-term enterprise value.
Our model combines institutional capital discipline with hands-on operating leadership — allowing us to underwrite what’s owned, not just what’s broadcast, and scale value beyond game-day economics.
Our Team
Slice is led by experienced operators with backgrounds across global sports, capital markets, media, and technology. Our leadership brings direct sector access, executional experience, and the governance capability required to operate complex, high-growth sports assets.
Tricia Vanderslice is the Founder, CEO, and Managing Partner of Slice Sports. She brings 18 years of experience across global sports, capital markets, emerging technology, and consumer brands. Tricia was part of the executive team that scaled an ETF issuer to $4B AUM and has served as an executive producer on Sports Emmy-nominated content for organizations including Ironman Triathlon. She has led revenue growth through strategic partnerships, multi-platform sponsorships, broadcast rights, and fan engagement for national and global sports organizations, including USA Swimming. At Slice, Tricia leads platform strategy, LP relationships, asset acquisition, and value creation initiatives across the portfolio. She works closely with institutional partners and asset owners to accelerate enterprise value in next-generation sports segments, including women’s sports, media, and fan-driven platforms. She is a University of Alabama alumna and a mother of two youth athletes.

Our Value Creation Engine
Slice underwrites sports assets as enterprises, not just teams or media properties.
We focus on owned value — brand, IP, data, platforms, communities, and infrastructure — rather than relying solely on media rights or game-day revenue.
Media and broadcast income are rented yield. Durable returns are created through owned assets that scale off-season, across platforms, and across audiences.
01
Owned Platforms
Facilities, academies, and operating platforms that generate recurring revenue, control distribution, and anchor long-term enterprise value.
02
Brand | Media | IP
Teams, leagues, and content assets that create monetizable intellectual property across sponsorship, media, commerce, and licensing.
03
Data & Community
Fan ecosystems, memberships, and direct relationships that compound engagement, insights, and lifetime value over time.
Advisory Board
